| Today I came across this hymn that beautifully reflects the prayer and cry of my heart right now. I hope it will be an encouragement to you and become your heart's prayer as well. Jesus, Draw Me Ever Nearer - Music by Keith Getty; Words by Margaret Becker Jesus, draw me ever nearer As I labor through the storm; You have called me to this passage, And I'll follow, though I'm worn. (Refrain) May this journey bring a blessing, May I rise on wings of faith; And at the end of my heart's testing, With Your likeness let me wake. Jesus guide me through the tempest Keep my spirit staid and sure; When the midnight meets the morning, Let me love You even more. Let the treasures of the trial Form within me as I go - And at the end of this long passage, Let me leave them at Your throne.

| "It is good to remember that the tea kettle, although up to its neck in hot water, continues to sing." Rejoice evermore. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~ 1 Thess. 5:16,18 "Don't be afraid of pressure. Remember that pressure is what turns a lump of coal into a diamond." Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. ~ James 1:3,4 While under prssure, it's so easy for me to forget God sees the bigger picture. He'll never ask us to handle more then His grace will allow us to carry. I have to keep reminding myself of that. No problem I face is beyond His notice or care! | | |
