Today I came across this hymn that beautifully reflects the prayer and cry of my heart right now. I hope it will be an encouragement to you and become your heart's prayer as well.

Jesus, Draw Me Ever Nearer - Music by Keith Getty; Words by Margaret Becker

Jesus, draw me ever nearer
As I labor through the storm;
You have called me to this passage,
And I'll follow, though I'm worn.

(Refrain)
May this journey bring a blessing,
May I rise on wings of faith;
And at the end of my heart's testing,
With Your likeness let me wake.

Jesus guide me through the tempest
Keep my spirit staid and sure;
When the midnight meets the morning,
Let me love You even more.

Let the treasures of the trial
Form within me as I go -
And at the end of this long passage,
Let me leave them at Your throne.

"It is good to remember that the tea kettle, although up to its neck in hot water, continues to sing."

Rejoice evermore. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~ 1 Thess. 5:16,18

"Don't be afraid of pressure. Remember that pressure is what turns a lump of coal into a diamond."

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. ~ James 1:3,4

While under prssure, it's so easy for me to forget God sees the bigger picture. He'll never ask us to handle more then His grace will allow us to carry. I have to keep reminding myself of that. No problem I face is beyond His notice or care!
